Yasir Ali is serving as the Vice President – GRRA (Government Relations & Regulatory Affairs) at Engro Corporation. He joined Engro in 2022, bringing over two decades of experience in sales, business development, and operations. He has a proven track record in driving business turnarounds, building new portfolios, and leading major process transformation initiatives. His prior experience includes commercial roles in Australia with Primus Telecom and Telstra and 13 years at Shell Pakistan in various leadership positions across commercial and operational domains.

Yasir has played a pivotal role in supporting Engro’s leadership across multiple business units within the organization. In his time with the company, he has contributed to key initiatives aimed at improving commercial and regulatory frameworks, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring long-term competitiveness. His efforts have also included guiding strategic regulatory and commercial matters, facilitating approvals for major asset transactions, and enabling progress on new ventures through effective stakeholder engagement. Yasir’s proactive approach and problem-solving capabilities have made him a trusted advisor across the organization, consistently delivering results in high-stakes and dynamic environments.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Deakin University, Australia.
